Breaking Blue News: Bring Awareness to Autism

The world was lit up in blue on Sunday April 2nd, 2017 for National Autism Awareness Day. Iconic landmarks and buildings around the world joined the Light It Up Blue (LIUB) campaign, Autism Speaks’ signature campaign since 2008. Join Autism Speaks throughout the entire month of April in support of World Autism Month. April represents an excellent opportunity to promote autism awareness and acceptance in your community. Here are 10 ways to draw attention and start speaking about autism:

  1. Light up your home and/or business by changing white bulbs to blue.
  2. Host an autism event.
  3. Donate:
  4. Wear blue and ask your friends, coworkers or classmates to do it too.
